Uninstalling Vista by trying to boot-install XP over the C drive doesn’t work for me.?

I'm trying to install XP. I play a lot of games, and Vista doesn't have the driver support for my new video card, and probably won't support it for some time based on 3d boards and driver sites.

I've tried dualbooting using very definitive guides that have worked for others, and I've tried various other methods, including just booting straight from my disk.

I've tried both 64 and 32 bit versions, …

The Answer by dag_44130 :First did you get the file form a trusted source? If not the file could be corrupt. Second is the theme designed for Vista because Most of the themes from Xp don't work well with Vista. Is there conflict with the file in your anti-virus?
