Vista Problem: My Power Options are gone from the start menu!?

So today, my power options dissapeared from the power/lock menu. I still have the lock options of switch user, log off and lock, but the restart, sleep and shut down options have dissappeared. I now have to log off before I can shut down or restart, even using ctrl+alt+delete. What happened to those options, and more importantly, how can I get them back?
I have windows vista, and untill recently nothing …

My new computer should be able to play Bejeweled 2 - but the mouse has poor control of the cursor. Any ideas?

I just got the computer.It's a Compac Presario. It has 2 gigs of RAM, large hard drive, Vista Premium. Runs like a dream, except the cursor is hard to control in Bejeweled 2, and the graphics are sluggish. Also in Diablo 2, when I toggle on the map the video gets choppie and the cursor is hard to control.
Is this maybe a compatability issue with Vista ? Is there anything …

This might be kind of confusing. But id like if someone could tell me how to set my labtop which has vista to to not turn the screen off after 15 minutes.

Anyone have any clue? On xp its just properties on desktop, vista I got no clue

ok here is the problem
my computer is vista ok, it worked perfectly fine until i moved it upstaris

the problem is when i start the computer up it will be find but after about 3min the screen freeze the colour didi not fade a way. its just like a pause but is forever until i turned it off the mouse and keyborard stopped responding too

i tired using system restore …
