Ok this is annoying: we got a new computer recently, and it came with Windows Vista. We've been using it for about a week, just typing up homework and doing research. That and playing solitaire.

I turn it on and boot it up this morning and the first thing it does, when the power up screen is finished loading, is start a loud high pitched beeping. When it finally loads up it goes into "error restart" or something like that. It then does system restore. It restarts again and again with the beeping noise.

Once windows starts, the help and support windows pops up. I close it, it pops up again. I open firefox and the firefox help window keeps opening. Is this another windows vista bug? help!
