Okay I just bought a new laptop with Windows Vista Premium and I love it. Everyday I learn something new about it. I don't know why some peole don't like it yet. I'm in love with this new OS.

Anyway I have been playing with the new games and I like evrything except I want to know if theres a way I can change the background in the Chess game to something better? I've figured out how to change Solitary and Spider solitary backgrounds but I can't figure it out for the chess. So if your a Vista user can you please help me out.

i don't think there's a way to change to background- only the board and the pieces.
I feel the same way about vista premium too!! I just got my laptop about a month ago and i'm still learning new things! I love the idea of the sidebar- although i prefer google sidebar to windows- alot more choices of gadgets- i love apple for inventing that idea and windows for stealing it!! lol Anyways, sry i couldn't help with the chess but maybe you could use another program or just change the board and pieces- it has an option to randomly choose the combinations for you in file > options
