left part of the screen near the gadgets? I fixed the gadgets from being on top of each other. Now the right top of the screen is cloudy with all my screen backgrounds. Why is this?
Also how to get the google search back on the desktop? Thanks

first check ur screen as it might be that ur monitor have dead pixels,, if it doesn't work reset your monitor.
i think the problem is your monitor but it might be vista., as it has many unfixed bugs.
search for help on the web or contact ur manufacture through their web.
It might be vista's transparent effect, switch it off and see if it works
