Hate vista. Windows XP Professional x64 stable?

I just built my computer 2 weeks ago. It’s a beast of a machine, with a quad core Q600 4 gigs of ram with 2.75 showing in my 32 bit vista ultimate it has a ge-force 8800GT and. When it comes to playing games this computer is fast and I don’t have any problems playing crysis and unreal tournament. My problems come from actually trying to use my computer to do something productive. I didn’t know then but it seems that vista has problems with the adobe CS3 products. After effects just stopped working and I had to uninstall it and reinstall it to get it back going. I can barely click on anything without the program becoming unresponsive. Vista Ultimate looks great but is so unstable I hate it. When I bought all of my parts I was really thinking about going with xp since that will stop selling it in june. I want to dual boot with xp 64bit to be able to use all of my ram. Is 64bit good with adobe CS3 suite? and is stable or should I go with xp pro 32bit and take the ram loss?
Don’t get me wrong I’m not totally bashing vista I really like the way it looks and the new features. And it does playful things well like internet, media center is really nice. I use another computer with xp with a duo core and only 2 gigs of ram I can run after effects premier and be downloading movies etc. and still browse internet with no problems. Many times I’m watching a video tutorial and using after effects at the same time no problem You just can’t do that with vista. You will be lagged up. When you close the premier and after effects you can tell the computer running a lot faster.

the answer is by HVS :
For the time being…Adobe still have the 64bit in testing..so it won’t come out for awhile. I’ll say take the Ram loss and use XP.
