Wireless internet problem windows vista?

I have a serious problem, I don't get internet through the normal wireless connection, the only way of fully conecting is using the wired method, why is that? :s

ps: I've got Vista
I always get the same message,
"cannot communicate with primary dns server (200.48.225.146)"

this problem only appears when connecting through wifi.

It sounds like you need to check in your device manager to see if your wireless is working on your computer (disabled or not).
If is says it is working, you need to check your start menu to make sure it is being started up as your computer boots up.
Next check to make sure your wireless on your computer is the same as whatever wireless signals you are trying to get. Since I don't have enough information to determine whether you have 802.11 b, or g, or n, I cannot really determine some things yet.
For instance most of the new ones can be backwards compatable like most 802.11 g also worked on b also, but I had a g which was limited to g only for some reason. I really haven't gotten into the n category myself (too expensive for me still), you would think they would be backwards compatable also, but you never know.
