I am running it and I don't like how it's hogging all my resources. Please let me know how I can disable and tweak Vista.

the answer is by Computer Wizard :
to uninstall a program go Start, type in Programs, choose Default programs, and on the bottom left corner choose programs and Features and change or uninstall the programs you want
