audacity record what you hear vista problem?

i just got a new laptop and downloaded audacity. before on my old computer i could do the record what you hear option and it worked great. now i dont have that option and cant figure out how to make it work. help please thanks.

the answer is by Azrael :All are, you just need to find the XP drivers for them. Usually there's an option to downgrade to XP (in that case the reinstall disk will already have them) or the site's download section has them.

the diagnostic tools says that my vista(tweaked to run fast) is unsupported os
the answer is by therage800 :That doesn't make sense… Does it say it's not authentic? Do you have a legally purchased copy? If not (downloaded, etc.), then it is not authentic and you don't have access to Windows update.

If it is authentic (genuine) however, then make sure it is registered. If it's legal but can not be registered …

well i do have a problem with adjusting my Screen size
