hey i want to put the weather gadget on my desktop, but i dont want the side bar, i had it on but i done something and its went off can someone tell me how to put the weather gadget on with out the sidebar

Hardly anyone has Windows Vista, so none of my word documents or powerpoints are compatible with theirs! What is the problem with Vista? I love it on my computer!
