How much do you hate Windows Vista?

I was just having a conversation earlier about how there can't possibly be a worse computer operating system than Vista.
What do you think?

My gateway Laptop is frozen on the welcome screen. since i have to reboot the entire thing can I use the reinstall disk from my gateway desktop to put xp on the Laptop?

i just bought a western digital external hard disc and it installed me a google desktop, coming handy with a google sidebar. the sidebar is great, i'm not a fan of all those gadgets but i loved to see the weather and "to do list" that takes the items down when you click them ok, really handy.

windows sidebar doesnt have a decent weather thingy and no to do lists …

I am Using core 2 duo,with 2 gb ram.i am trying CCleaner,and Tune up utility. but it is not so effective.Is there any option to tweak up windows Vista and make mycomputer fast.

My operating platform is Vista Home Premium. Is it possible to ditch IE? Won't there be a problem running hundreds, if not thousands of protocols?
the answer is by We're the Scabs :IE is built into the operating system, it cannot be removed. You can choose not to use it, and even delete the shortcuts to it. If you do this you'll need a replacement such as Firefox.

I love the way windows vista looks but, is there any thing I should know?

please help, i want a new operating system, I would love leopard but thats a little out of my reach so ive tried tweaking vista and everything but its just boring! Maybe there is a release of linux that emulates vista closely? Idk but i just need some suggestions please!
